Hi again! I’m Madujidechukwu Davidson John Igbokwe (I go by DJ, Davidson, or Madujidechukwu). I’m currently finishing my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington, graduating in August 2025.
From a young age, I was fascinated by how things move and how systems work together, whether it was entertaining myself by creating stories while building imagined worlds with plastic bricks, trying to fix a fan switch I broke (before ultimately getting into trouble), or diving into explorations of NASA, space.com, and Virgin Galactic. These early experiences sparked a curiosity that grew into a lasting passion for learning and understanding system frameworks that are not only functional, but thoughtfully integrated and optimized.
At UT Arlington, I’ve worked on everything from embedded motion control for electrospinning devices to FEA simulations of potato slicers and geartrain fatigue, as well as CAD design and technical drawings of various mechanical systems. My work spans analysis using hand calculations, software logic, simulation, and physical prototyping, where I’ve enjoyed collaborating with others, or working independently, to bridge the gap between theory and hands-on application.
I’m excited to explore different areas of engineering and open to opportunities where I can continue growing as an engineer while contributing to real-world problem-solving across industries.
Outside of engineering, I enjoy exploring new technologies, working with my hands, and staying active. I also unwind through music, film, gaming, exercise, and climbing. I'm a lifelong learner who values collaboration, curiosity, and resilience in every setting.
